The Holiday Season is here and can be a hectic time for everyone. Getting your presents wrapped, food prepared, tables set, and most importantly ready for your guests. No need to panic. Get prepared with these small but crucial details that will have them raving about your hospitality.
Let’s start with the Living Room Area.
This is where most will spend their time in your home so let’s make it comfortable. First start with decluttering. Put away magazines, kids or dogs toys. Extra seating is always a must. Set out blankets and add some seasonal pillows to bring in that holiday cheer. Have the fireplace ready for use and decorate the mantle festively.

It is a nice touch to also clear out the guest room closet so anyone can hang their clothes and stash their luggage. It is never fun to be tripping over your bags and have nowhere to put your unpacked items.

Having a list of activities your guests could do while they are in town can be beneficial. If they have plans to visit friends or relatives while they are staying with you, make sure you give them the code to get into your house or the spare key.
